Blind Faith, Brighton, England 1996/97

Commissioned by BN1 Visual Arts Projects, Brighton.

Project Brief / Context: To create a site-specific temporary public artwork in response to the city of Brighton.
Project Description: The artwork was integrated into a disused tram shelter/public convenience (C.1929) in a central part of Brighton, near to the promenade. The piece employed blue lighting-gel over the windows and a lighting system with auto cross-fade unit. The blue lighting slowly faded up and down between either side of the building, suggestive of breathing and the rhythm of the sea.
