Parallel Worlds, Intermedia Gallery, Glasgow 1993
Commissioned by: 'Breathe' and produced in association with Jens Heise.
Concept: To explore the relationship between the body and the space, and to use new media technology to make this relationship visible and in some way 'organic'.
Project Description: Three movement sensors were installed around the gallery space - when the gallery visitors moved about the space this activated a computer programme which in turn sent power to electric heating elements suspended from ceiling. U.V. paint and light was used to highlight the physical structure of the gallery space.
